Desert Fruit Swatches/Sale

I have a new polish for you guys!  In honor of this new polish, I will open blog sales of full size bottles for everyone who orders the new polish (meaning if you order Desert Fruit, you can also order full-size bottles of any of the original six polishes: Inky Fingers, Purple Smoke, Gilded Oak, Creeping Moss, Firebrand, and Bright Night).

Sales of Desert Fruit/other full-size bottles start now and will go through the end of the weekend (provided I have enough stock to last that long).  I will post here again when the sales are closed.

Now onto the new polish...

Desert Fruit (red-toned purple with red/bronze shimmer)

This polish was inspired by one of my favorite discontinued polishes.  I won't name the discontinued polish here, but the name of my polish is a clue.  :)

Desert Fruit is packed with shimmer and is opaque in two coats.  These swatches show two coats Desert Fruit and one coat Seche Vite.

A few notes about the pictures in this post

All pictures were taken in direct sunlight.

The swatches look slightly more red/less purple than they actually do in direct sunlight; the bottle shots are more representative of how this polish looks in the sun.  (My camera tends to show red-purple manis as more red than they actually are.)

Please see sidebar for details on how to place an order, and please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

  3. Wonderful shade, I also love the shimmer... in fact I recently did a franken with similar effect - a plum based polish with copper shimmer

  4. I just saw this on the mua nail board, and it's amazing! It's sort of similar to a shade I had back in the 90's called Forbidden Fruit by Orly, when they had those trapezoidal bottles. It was LE, not the core shade by the same name. The base color was more of a deep rosy red rather than purply, but the shimmer is spot on. I'm on an extended no-buy sadly, but this is at the top of my list :)
